Ostara 9

People notice the change in you. Some ask of it. Others just watch. They sense it is something very significant but ponder rather than query. Some think it seasonal. Others credit a change in diet or a new health regiment. Still others think it medication or libation. Still they watch and wonder.

It is as it should be. Those around you everyday will see it first. Then others, from long ago and far away, will be placed so they can see it too. Many will merely watch or comment but not probe. Not even to skim or dance around it. They are not wise enough. They are not prepared. They are not made to ask the question for they are not ready.

Those that ask, are ready. They deserve to know. They are with you for the very reason you suspect as soon as they ask. They are one of you. Share freely with them and watch the spark of change within them.

For some, it will be a flashpoint and the change will be at the speaking. For others, it will be an ember and they will go forth and ponder. It will simmer and flame forth later.

Savor this for you have been a long time getting to know self. Let it shine through simply by being you. When with those of old, wear not the mask of what you were then. It is not you any longer and it will not work. Just be. It is enough. Your light will be a beacon as sure as the houses on the sea. Your balance will shift the attention of seekers to you. You live what you are and they will come to live what they are meant to be.

Everyday brings more of them. From near and from far. You need only be you for that is what all waited for. Even you.

Prayer Lines

Wired barbs and telegraphed punchlines zing shot at easy pray and loose Canons.

Top Ten Wisdoms wasted on the clueless as they list and pass wind.

Holier than Thou shall not pass go, please pay before you exit.

Begat Hepcats cause pro-life hates other choices and gay old timers.

Joey Bishop, Father Time, Sister Christian, Mother Mary pray for me.

All the Kings men nailed all the King’s horses for thy kingdom come.

Alle-alle-in-freedom really is nothing left to loser’s never win.

Dance ballerina till the cows come home to roost or not to roost.

That is the question of the days of whine and rose from the dead.

Pop goes your weasel and peek a boo-boo until its all better.

Party down by the riverside on the banks are doing fine.

Saving coupons because green stamps come postage due.

Full speed ahead in foreclosed rainy day galoshes.

Riptides for those middle class puddle jumpers.

Sinking feelings about options and futures and bonds.

Shorter tempers, longer lines, whose turn is it anyway?

Lock the gate, change the password, check the shopping list.

Fill the car, scratch my back, let’s go see a show.

Where’s the Captain and Crusader Rabbit? Romper stomper now!

Holy Shit. Forgive us, father. Whatever art your name.

Pebbles and Pinecones

(From a year ago.....maybe it was two......somethings just work whenever)

My granddaughter is amazing inefficient. I invited the two-year-old over to help me in the yard. Time to pick up pinecones and pull some weeds and be together. We started off with her doing pinecones and me pulling weeds. That worked for a bit. Then she wanted to sing about the pinecones so we made up “The Pine Cone Song”.

Pinecone.

Pinecone.

Pine. Pine. Cone.

Then she wanted some fruit snacks so went inside. She came back a while later and decided to help again but the worm got in the way. We stopped to see the worm and found other worms. She likes worms. We played with and watched the worms for a while. She wanted more fruit snacks so the worms were left alone and I kept picking up pinecones, singing “The Pinecone Song” as I did. She returned and decided she was cold so she took off her jacket. That one slowed me down for a moment so I sat with her while she counted to twenty and did her ABCs. She went inside for a drink and waved at me through the windows while I picked up more pinecones. When she came back, she said she was done working. She decided it was time to play in the pebbles so I played in the pebbles. Then it was time to let her hear the pebbles so we walked the pebbled path and listened to them sing their crunchy song. We marched and talked to the pebbles while they talked to us.

“Pebbles. Pebbles. Pebbles, pebbles, pebbles.” A new tune, different than the pinecone song. This was a marching tune. Of course, while marching and swinging our arms like the Royal Guards. That worked for a while and then she decided we needed to take a walk around the block so off we went. She pointed to the flowers and how they matched her purple shirt. We walked a bit more and I pointed to some flowers and said how pretty they were. She corrected me. “Those not flowers. Those dandelions.”

Now she is playing a video game, quite put off that we do not have Nintendo. The yard did get picked up. So did I. My granddaughter is amazing inefficient. I can learn a lot from her.

Talking Smack

You there. In the darkness. What do you have to say for yourself?

Spit it out. We are tired of waiting. We may not like it but spit it out.

Smack. Smack. Talk to Us and share of all your dreams.

Smack. Smack. Talk to Us. We tire of your screams.

You there. We know you hear us. When will you speak clear?

Words are given. Not for you to keep. Share them, bitch, or We shall make you weep.

Smack. Smack. Talk to Us and don’t hold nothing back.

Smack. Smack. Talk to Us or We make you feel your lack.

You there. Aching to be true. Quit the shit. Rise up and be you.

This is how it is right now. You know it’s overdue.

Smack. Smack. Talk to Us while you are still here.

Smack. Smack. Talk to Us and tell Us what you fear.

Ostara 8

Be both arrogant and humble. You need the energy of both to move fast as well as focused. While you question if this is possible, you already sense bits of both and should embrace those feelings.

Be Arrogant. This is about you. You are not a player in someone else’s story. You and you and they are players in yours. All these things have been positioned to fulfill your destiny. Do not subjugate your destiny to another’s. Look at the resource and the bounty as placed to move you to where you know you should be. Speak of that authority and that purpose and let all sense your passion of it.

Be humble. This is about a much higher calling as well and sensing that higher purpose ensures your arrogance fuels but does not taint. Things will move forward without you but not as quickly and not as sure. That is the case for all of you. All of us. All of all kinds. Belief in self is key or else we only follow, living someone else’s dream. Humbleness to apply your natural talents and strengths to the good of all ensures we do not succeed at the expense of others.

Balance. Use the arrogance but check it with humility. Ensure others’ arrogance is checked as well. Those that achieve this serve a higher calling and fulfill destiny. Those that do not either follow or corrupt.

Ostara 7

Abundance is yours and will be forever. Reflect on the abundance at hand already. In the ways you know you should. Then savor it. Compare it to your Inventory of Thanks and see what truly matters. Hold those close while you can and thank those who truly love you every time you can.

This positively nurtures the Giver and the Receiver. It is like water to plants that bloom. When you do this, you walk taller and happier, thankful for all you have. This accelerates everything.

It is time to venture forth. You have watched and waited. You have contemplated and evaluated. You have hesitated. It is time to have that adventure. The foundation of action is Trust. Trust in yourself first and then trust in others you have learned to trust. Those that have proven true. Those that speak and love you not for what you give but for what you are. Trust in yourself and Trust in them and others like them that will come. Step forth in Trust. A small step and then a bigger one. Then even bigger ones. It will be perpetual motion as trust fuels steps and steps fuel trust and the cycle propels you ever onward.

For some among you, this is the jump off the cliff long pondered. Roots held you. Trust frees you. For others of you, this is but a step but that makes it no less monumental. It is bold for you and it is time for bold.

Hippie Movement

Frontlines change. Sidelines complain. Headlines remain.

Soldiers defend countries. Citizens change the world.

The Hippies are hip to it now. We lived the 60s and turn 60. We had it right. Let’s get it right.

We lost the war. We traded boardwalks for boardrooms. We picked stocks over picket lines. We deserted Main Street for two car garages and chicken delivered rather than pot. We trumped the Jones and now we are Jonesing.

The children are watching. The grandchildren are watching. Seven Generations is more than a product line. Wow, is it two into seven already? We slept through how many alarms? Can’t complain to the management…….we ARE the management. How’d we manage that? Well, evidently not too well.

Lots at stake. Lots for sale. Lots sold out. We brought in. We gave ourselves too much credit. Way too much credit. Time to save. To save ourselves. To save the world we put in intensive care. We are the Doctors so quit the bellyaching. Aches and pains. Acres of pain as acres of nature fell to our need for speed. We fought the law and the law won. Almost. We became the law. We became the establishment. We out-establishmented the establishment. We waged and waged and waged. We gave away peace for a piece of the dream. Wake up, lovechildren. Wake up and make sure you are heard rather than herd. Rule. We rule. We rock. Rock on. Lock and load. All we are saying is Give Peace a Chance. Now!

Peace, Love, Dove, Motherfuckers.

We’re baaaaaaaacck.
